Current Condition

This project is currently in the planning phase for construction and installation. Once the required equipment is purchased, the installation will be completed. In the meanwhile, in 2019, a successful freshwater supply pilot project was implemented in a smaller scale at the Amirthan restaurant. Apart from meeting the restaurant’s needs, a significant number of locals have been benefiting from this initiative. To regulate water consumption, we charge the locals a significantly reduced, yet affordable price.

Requirements for Implementing the Water Supply System

Since the planning phase has already been completed, the following action plan is necessary to begin the implementation.

§  Installation: including laying pipes, installing pumps, setting up filtration systems and testing.

§  Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish a system for monitoring the water supply system’s performance and maintenance to ensure its long-term sustainability.
